Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary

The TPC Tampa Bay golf course is routed around natural wetlands, cypress heads and numerous ponds and lagoons, which are home to an abundance of wildlife. Deer, fox, otters, armadillos, alligators, egrets, storks, cranes, blue heron, and eagles all inhabit the course. This natural setting and wildlife variety is the reason why TPC Tampa Bay is in the process of being re-certified as an Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary.

The organization awards certification to recognize program members that demonstrate their commitment to environmental quality by meeting required standards for protecting the environment, conserving natural resources, and providing wildlife habitats.
