TPC Tampa Bay > Birdies For The Brave

Birdies For The Brave is a nationwide program launched by the U.S. Department of Defense that recognizes citizen's support for military men and women and communicates that support to members of our Armed Forces at home and abroad.

Each year, proceeds raised from the Birdies For The Brave Golf Tournament go to help numerous homefront groups, directly benefiting the men and women in uniform and their families:

Home For Our Troops
Special Operations Warrior Foundation
Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund
Naval Special Warfare Foundation
Wounded Warrior Project
Operation Homefront

This year, the golf tournament will be held on December 6th, 2008 with a silent and live auction event the night before at the Clubhouse. There will also be a closing dinner and prize giveaway the night of the tournament. The tournament format will be a Four-Man Scramble.
